Whole round Atlantic mackerel (Scomber scombrus) caught in the autumn season, frozen on board in plate freezers. Size 300 to 500 g per fish, fat content 15 to 25 percent, glazing below 5 percent. Suitable for canning, smoking and retail. Shelf life 24 months at -18 °C. Each block labelled with species, catch area, size grade and production date.
